How Mobile technology adopts to us or is it us who adopt to technology? What else can we expect from it In 2015 according to “The World Bank” more than 75% of the world’s population have access to a mobile phone (7 billion people). The Second World War made military use of radio Telephony links. Hand held radio transceivers have been available since the 1940s. Mobile telephones for automobiles became available from some telephone companies in the 1940s. Early devices were bulky and consumed a lot of power. Network supported only a few simultaneous conversations at the time. Big difference made introduction of cellular technology and use of additional channels and frequency. Cellular technology is what mobile phone networks are based on our days, and it is the technology that gave mobile phones the name “Cell Phones”. Cellular technology basically refers to having many small interconnected transmitters as opposed to one big one. There was a time when mobile phones were really big and bulky. Going thru the years developing mobile technologies, developers have started to make a mobile devices really small. Even 10 years ago key point to buy a mobile device was battery life and a phone size. Our days we are going back to a big and bulky devices again. Funny but that is a fact. The whole reason for that is how we interact with mobile phones and what do we use them for. If we were to go back in history when mobile phone era started, when mobile phones were big, bulky and heavy, they were used only to make/receive calls. Mobile devices back then were so big because they required a lot of power, a lot off battery cells. Mobile phone was looking more like a suitcase not because that was the style of it, but more because mobile phone battery technologies were not that developed as they are now.
