Dependability is extremely important, especially if you’re in the United States Marine Corps. Being at the appointed place of duty is key to being successful, whether it’s in the military or not. A United States Marine cannot go up in the ranks if he or she is always late, same thing goes for civilians in the workforce. Someone who really wants to succeed in life must go out of his or her way to be squared away and be on time to his or her appointed place of duty. Even if you’re a United States Marine, going beyond and above the expectation in the workplace, events, and excels physically and mentally, it doesn’t matter if the Marine is always late and/or shows up to the wrong place.
