I’m student of Bio Medical Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology which is one of the prestigious Universities of Pakistan. I belong to a small village called Kandiaro. Where most of the people are underprivileged and lack the vital resources of life like education, pure drinking water and women rights let alone the paramedical supplies. There are basically two things that have induced me to pursue this field with utter commitment, one is to be a good biomedical engineer in the family to be able to make both ends meet owing to the reason that my father is about to attain his retirement and it will be only my elder sibling and I who will be responsible to earn the bread and butter for the family and another reason is the unavoidable conditions and certain devastating occurrences due to the lack of biomedical facilities that always result in many deaths throughout the year in my village Kandiaro. I’m undoubtedly sincere with my field of biotechnology, but what inhibits me to polish my skills and expertise in this field is the non availability of the advanced equipments in the laboratories here in the universities of my city. Although, I have not missed any opportunity to be a part of the Educational and technical seminars held at MUET in order to explore and discover the new technologies. I have also served as an intern at ISRA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL where I could acquaint myself with the working of the diagnosing machines. I am looking forward to getting considered by you for this scholarship because I don’t want to lose any opportunity that will help me enrich my skills and broaden my knowledge in this field. **
